My Mother's Day Gift
I have such an amazing husband! He gave me such a wonderful Mother's Day! First he cooked me breakfast, then as we got ready for church he suprised me with a beautiful necklace and a new scrapbook. Then we went to church and of course everything was about Mom. I cried my eyes out in relief society as the primary came in and sang Mother I love You. It was Emma's first time singing with the primary and I just lost it. She was so cute! Then they gave us flowers. After church we stayed all dressed up and Phil took us to this pretty little village and he took Mommy and Daughter pictures. I think they turned out so cute! Then he took me to dinner at Macaroni Grill to finish off the wonderful day. I had so much fun! Below are a few of the pictures Phil took. I think he may have a new career opportunity! :)

Happy Mother's Day!!!
Happy Mother's Day to all those wonderful mother's in our life!
I have been SO blessed to be a mother! WE have been so so so blessed. Emma is indeed our miracle. I am so lucky to have been able to carry Emma and to experience the miracle of creation. Really no words can express my gratitude to the lord. He must truly love us to have sent us such a wonderful gift. Emma is a bright, happy, affectionate little girl. Over the last year of hardships and struggles and many months of disappointment with no baby #2, I look at my daughter and know that the lord has sent me this special person, and that regardless of our future posterity on this earth, he loved us enough to let us enjoy it at least once. Everyday that I come home to her and see her happy little face, I remember what is most important. The lord has a plan and I trust in him that he knows what is best for us. I can only pray and ask that we can be blessed again in this way, but if his plan is different from ours, I will not be ungreatful for what I have been given. And so, an ever greatful thank you to my Heavenly Father for this blessing. A thank you to my mother for her example and struggles with motherhood. She calms my sorrows and lifts me to high hopes. To Phil's mom for being such a generous woman. To all the women who are not yet mothers, to all those who are, to all those who hope for this miracle, my thoughts are with you. I hope you all have a beautiful Mother's day and that you enjoy the company of the mother's in your life!
