Jude's 1st Birthday Party!

While all the family was gathered together for Thanksgiving, we threw Jude his Mustache Bash! I cannot believe a year has passed. It was the fastest year of my life! I made a little cake and we gave him a few gifts and sang Happy Birthday, to which he laughed and clapped along. Then came the fun part! The cake smash. I placed the cake right in front of him and he dove right in. Fist fulls of frosting and cake! He had a blast making a sweet mess and ended his adventure in the sink for a hose down. Jude loves bath time and I think this little sink bath was the actual highlight of his day! Jude had a good time and we all made fun memories. That's all that matters! Happy Birthday Jude Bug!

Thanksgiving 2014!

Happy Thanksgiving! This year we spent Thanksgiving at Grandma Anderson's house in Quincy. ]Aunt Rachel, Uncle Jared, Aunt Laura, and Uncle Steven all went too! We had such a fun time visiting, taking pictures of each other, playing games, and of course EATING!!! We had the traditional Thanksgiving meal, Laura made all sorts of treats, and we even had our favorite mexican restaurant before everyone headed back home. Oh, and Ana from Frozen visited! Grandma made Emma a pink Ana cape and blue tutu. Kids had a blast and I can only hope they are making fun childhood memories to remember this all by!

Playtime in the snow!

We woke up to a dusting of first snow! The kids were so excited. I think the right word would be jubilant. Jubilant with laughter as they played at the bus stop! Winter is finding its way to us...

And of course when Emma got home...a snowball fight!!!

Jude is 11 months old!

Oh goodness! No no no no no no no no! Only one more month and my baby is one year old! Where did this year go??

Jude at 11 months:

Jude is of course crawling and getting into everything. He likes to pull himself up to the couch or whatever he can reach.

He has 4 teeth, 2 on top and 2 on bottom.

Jude loves his blankets, brother, sister, baths, and snuggles!

He makes this growl that we have no idea how he got started with. Its pretty funny! He also makes this squawking noise when he wants something or isn't getting his way.

Jude is not shy, but if a stranger approaches he will tuck his head into my shoulder and bat his long eyelashes at them. Little ham!

Speaking of hams, unlike his brother, he is not shy for photos!

Momma's boy, big time!

Dog food= playtime fun. Not for Mom or Dad. hehe

Jude is still by far our pickiest eater.

He is size 12-18 month in clothing.

I'd guess he's about 22 pounds now and 30 inches long. Oh how he has grown!

We LOVE our sweet Jude so much! Its funny how it can seem like life has never existed with out him. He is a great blessing to us, and I am going to be valiant in holding on to this last sweet month of his first year!
