The Fleming Family

I had a funny week last week. I took my dogs to this dog park downtown called City Creek where you can let your dogs off leash. Unfortunately this day in spring there was a set of baby ducks that had just hatched. The mommy duck was being attacked by two other ducks for unknown reasons and we watched as one little duckling went over the damn and into the drainage pipes under ground. Then a little later, my dogs chased the other 3 ducklings in. I was horrified and felt so guilty! However I redeemed myself. Phil and I found kittens in our neighbors yard and the mama cat was wild. I hoped they would not be mean and we got lucky. They are all savable and I took them into the humane society. They were so cute! What a random set of events! Hopefully theses events offset eachother and I wont go to Hades. :)
