Choose the Right...or left?

On Sunday, Emma was having a bit of a hard time and so Phil sat with her thru Primary singing time. (I think Phil secretly enjoyed it) For Sharing Time the primary learned about choosing the right. As the teacher was explaining how to choose the right, Emma turns to Phil and says, "Why can't we go left?" He about fell out of his chair. Oh to be so innocent(and literal) again!
