This is just a glimpse of our fun little Easter this year. For the last few years we have been in California for Easter, but this year the Easter Bunny found us at home, and he hid Emma's eggs and left her a fun basket full of goodies. She found all the eggs hidden around the yard (it was a beautiful sunny 60 degree morning) and then immediatley wanted to put on her new dress, shoes and headband (mommy made the headbands for Emma herself. hehe). Phil and I made a huge Easter brunch with eggs, bacon and sausage, and hashbrowns, etc. Yumo! Then we did what we do best. RELAX. haha. This year was General Conference so no church, but Emma has been learning about why we celebrate Easter. She can tell you the story of the atonement which for a 4 year old is incredible (at least I think so). We had an afternoon nap and then headed to Nana and Popo's for Easter dinner. Emma had a great time and is currently eating thru her candy. We hope everyone is well and had a very Happy Easter!

So cute. And her hair is getting so long! Oh, and yes, I agree. The fact that she knows the story of the atonement is quite impressive. My kids still tell me that they learned "to choose the right" EVERY single week in church. I don't think we are learning that much...
